1. About this policy
This policy explains how Mana Hyd accesses, uses, stores and shares information when you plan Hyderabad journeys, search transport services, view maps, check nearby stops or use trip alerts. Mana Hyd is an independent passenger-information app and is not an official government, TGSRTC, HMRL, South Central Railway or MMTS app.
2. Information accessed or processed
- Location: With permission, precise or approximate location is used for nearby stops, maps and passenger-requested stop alerts. Coordinates are sent securely to the Mana Hyd journey-information service when a nearby search is requested.
- Journey requests: Stops, stations, bus numbers, transport modes and route requests are transmitted to the Mana Hyd service to return routes and schedules.
- On-device information: Accepted terms, language, favourites, saved stops, recent searches and alert preferences are stored locally using Android app storage.
- Advertising data: Google Mobile Ads may process IP address, advertising or app-set identifiers, device information, diagnostics, approximate location and ad interactions depending on settings and consent.
- Technical data: Internet services may process request metadata in routine operational and security logs.
3. Permissions and purposes
- Location: nearby transport, maps, journey progress and stop alerts.
- Foreground service and notifications: keep an active trip alert working and display its status.
- Internet and network state: retrieve routes and schedules, load maps and display advertising.
Optional permissions can be denied or revoked in Android Settings, although related features may then be unavailable.
4. Use and sharing
Information is used to provide journey results, nearby services, maps, on-device preferences, trip alerts, security, diagnostics and advertising. Mana Hyd does not sell personal information. Providers needed for app functions may process information, including the Mana Hyd journey-information service, Google Maps Platform, Google Play services and Google Mobile Ads. Deliberately shared content is handled by the external app selected by the user.
5. Retention, deletion and security
Favourites, recent searches and preferences remain on the device until removed, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Routine server and security logs may be retained temporarily for operation, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Mana Hyd has no user accounts. Clear the app’s storage or uninstall it to delete locally stored data. Network requests use encrypted HTTPS where supported, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Children, choices and contact
Mana Hyd is a general passenger-information service and is not directed specifically to children. Users may revoke permissions, clear app data, reset the Android advertising ID or uninstall the app. This policy may be updated when features, providers or legal requirements change. 1. Acceptance
By selecting the acceptance checkbox and tapping Accept and Continue in the app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Independent passenger-information app
Mana Hyd is independently developed. It is not an official application of TGSRTC, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, South Central Railway, MMTS, the Government of Telangana or any other government authority, and it does not represent or act on behalf of these organisations.
3. Open-data transport sources
Mana Hyd uses publicly available GTFS transport datasets published through the Telangana Open Data Portal. These are open-source/open-data datasets made available for access and reuse under their publishers’ terms. Publishers retain ownership and applicable rights over their data, names and services.

4. Accuracy and service changes
Routes, stops, schedules, platforms, fares, journey durations and arrival information may be delayed, incomplete or changed without notice. Mana Hyd does not guarantee that every route, time or service is current or error-free. Confirm important information using official announcements, station displays, transport personnel or the relevant operator.
5. Passenger safety
Mana Hyd is a journey-assistance tool and is not an emergency service. Do not rely exclusively on it for emergencies or safety-critical decisions. Follow traffic rules, station instructions, official announcements and directions from authorised transport personnel.
6. Location, notifications and alerts
Location is used when you request nearby stops, maps or Alert me 1 stop before. Notification and foreground-service access may provide an active passenger-requested alert. GPS accuracy, route data, network availability and device settings can affect alerts, so passengers must remain attentive.
7. Advertising and external services
Mana Hyd may display clearly identified Google Mobile Ads and may open Google Maps, WhatsApp, SMS, the phone dialler or Google Play. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. An advertisement or external link does not mean Mana Hyd endorses it.
8. Acceptable use
Use Mana Hyd lawfully and for legitimate passenger-information purposes. Do not disrupt, misuse, reverse engineer, overload or attempt unauthorised access to the app, its services or data sources.
9. Disclaimer and limitation
Mana Hyd is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for missed services, delays, incorrect routes, lost fares, injuries, losses or decisions made using information displayed by the app.
10. Updates and contact
These terms may be updated when features, permissions, data sources or legal requirements change. A materially updated version may require acceptance again. For support or legal questions, use the developer contact information displayed on the Mana Hyd Google Play listing.
