GoHyd respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the GoHyd mobile application uses device permissions and how information is processed while you use the application.

1. Information We Process

Location Information

GoHyd requests your device location only to provide transportation-related features such as:

Finding nearby bus stops
Showing your current location on the map
Planning bus routes
Trip alerts
Destination alerts
Stop reminder notifications
Navigation assistance

Location is accessed only after you grant permission.

When you start a trip alert or destination alert, GoHyd may use Android's Foreground Location Service while the alert is active. A persistent notification is displayed whenever this service is running.

GoHyd does not use your location for advertising or marketing purposes.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

GoHyd stores certain information only on your own device to improve your experience.

Saved bus stops
Favourite routes
Recent searches
Daily routes
Trip preferences
Application settings

This information remains on your device. GoHyd does not sell this information or use it to create user accounts.

3. Permissions Used

Depending on the features you use, GoHyd may request:

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
INTERNET

These permissions are used only to provide the transportation features of the application.

4. Advertising

GoHyd displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may automatically collect limited device information or advertising identifiers in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy.

5. Maps, App Services, and Public Transport Data

GoHyd uses Google Maps Platform and Google Play Services for map display, device location features, and app functionality.

GoHyd also connects to GoHyd web/API services to provide bus stop search, route planning, schedule-board results, bus route details, and saved-screen banner images.

GoHyd contains public transport information based on publicly available GTFS/open transport data. Official source links are provided below:

Contains data provided by TGSRTC. Bus stops, routes, and schedule information may change. Please confirm critical travel information with official sources before travelling.

6. Data Sharing and Sale

GoHyd does not collect personal information such as your:

Name
Email address
Phone number
Home address
Government identification
User account information

GoHyd does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Third-party services such as Google AdMob, Google Play Services, and Google Maps Platform may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to help protect the information processed by the application. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

GoHyd is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Choices

You may allow or deny location permission at any time through Android Settings.
You may disable notifications through Android Settings.
You may stop any active trip alert whenever you choose.
You may uninstall GoHyd at any time.

10. Data Retention

GoHyd does not maintain user accounts or store personal information on its own servers.

Any saved stops, favourites, recent searches, and preferences remain only on your device.

These are removed automatically when you uninstall the application or clear its storage.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be published on this page together with the updated revision date.
